Our Response to Covid-19



Changeways Clinic is committed to the mental and physical health of our clients.

In keeping with recommendations from the Government of British Columbia, the College of Psychologists of British Columbia, the British Columbia Psychological Association, and the Canadian Psychological Association, we have temporarily changed our way of offering service.

For the time being, clients are not being seen on-site at Changeways Clinic's offices at Willow and Broadway. We have temporarily transitioned to a "virtual clinic" model in which clients visits are handled remotely.

To schedule an appointment, the best option is to email the clinic at clientservices@changeways.com. If your provider has given you their own email address, you can also email them directly.

The majority of appointments are scheduled using encrypted video-plus-audio service, such as Zoom or Doxy.me. You may instead prefer to schedule an appointment via telephone.

Your provider will schedule the appointment, then email you the link to click on in the minute or two before your appointment is scheduled to begin. You will not have to download software yourself.

You will also be emailed a consent form specific to receiving remote services that outlines the types of concerns that people may have about this form of meeting. You will be asked to sign this form and return it to us by email or regular mail.

Your provider will conduct your meeting from a secure and confidential space. We strongly encourage you to likewise find a private space for the meeting where you will be comfortable discussing private matters without distraction, interruption, or the concern of being overheard by others.
